Check air canadas homepage. Normaly you can have one bag in the cabin if it follows the maximum size and weight. You can also have "normal" belongnings such as clothes and a reading book, that include a map I guess. If youre unsure ask at the check in and they will answer you. Johan

usually you can have 1 carry on and a personal item. try to put the map in a bag as well as the umbrella. if it's one of those big umbrellas, they may not let you carry it on at all as it could be considered a weapon

i encourage to decision. even as i change right into a student and that i finished in shops I had to go away by the front my handbag (I carried massive handbags on the time), my bag with extra clothing, and my computer. many of the time I left, because i can't keep without my wallet frequently. also because those workers might want to go away mines and human beings's property unattended and then disclaim each little thing even as something is stolen. So it merely would not take position to adult men, some women human beings adventure it too.

You are allowed one carry on bag and one personal item such as a laptop bag or for women a purse. Make sure that your carry on is small enough to either fit in the overhead copartment or under the seat in front of you.

no i dont think so put the map in one of the carry ons and put the umbrella in the checked in luggage because i dont think that will make it threw security and anyways why do you need a umbrella the baggage claim is in a shelterd place it isnt like it will rain inside the aircraft.
