if you are flying anywhere in the US, you can take food, but no liquids. it is the same going to japan.

Any liquids 3oz or less must be put into a ziplock bag ONLY FOR CARRY ON! the only way u could bring that is for checked luggage. Even if u have say a 15oz perfume bottle and only have 3oz left, u still cant bring it. Check some of my previous questions...i asked things about this

Liquids need to go in checked baggage. Food can go with you but you must finish it before you land in the foreign country as most countries ban foods from other nations entering, either in checked or in carry-on baggage.

Yes.
Fruit juices, smoothies etc. are not allowed.
You can bring "some" liquids on the plane with you. They do however all need to be together in a clear bag if you are planing to bring them on your carry on.
If you don't need it on the plane, check it.
However, it depends where you are flying. Flying into the US or UK is probably the most throughout. : ) .

I believe that you have to put all of it in your checked baggage, but you could always call the airline and they would be able to tell you.....But I would pack it in the checked bags just to be safe

probably not. I would keep an eye on the following site: http://www.tsa.gov/ for updates on security issues.
