Or do you CHOOSE to believe there is only 1?

Or do you go by observation?

I am trying to understand what the christian means by saying things like "You choose to deny the reality of God"
So if I 'break' it down I might get an idea of what christians actually mean.

Whats interesting is that the christians have answered in a way that it would seem that they think I am claiming that there are 3 moons? I never made that assertion.
Interesting.
Can some christian just answer the question about yourself.

@ Today T
Clearly you have problems answering the very simple question
Your answer is completly way of track, I have no idea what you read into this question.
Judging by the answer from christians, it would appear that you largely interpret most things either symbolically, or something or other.
I will have to ask more simplistic questions just to find out how the hell most of you christians understand common language. Do you have a different dictionary or something?

WOW... you really are on the defensive today huh. Maybe you should have a beer or something. calm down. At least then when you re read the question this time, you may actually be able to understand it. I am not assertering anything at all. Have a look at the qeustion. No claims, nor assertions. Simply asking if you choose to deny there are 3 moons. I am not claiming that there are 3 moons. I am not claiming I believing there are or are not. Its simply a question about CHOOSING belief or if you base belief on observation . Judging by your answer, your powers of observation are not all that great, I guess you have to base it on belief, wether yours or someone elses.

This has been done on Yahoo before..

Apparantly the scientist have now discovered that the earth actually has AT LEAST THREE moons. We have the one that we all know about and another was discovered sometime in the 1990's and is called Cruithne.

The third one is also quite small and is called YN107 and has only been discovered very recently. It is actually a small asteroid about 20 metres across but it orbits the earth in exactly the same way as out first moon does and fits all the space criteria for being called a moon. But it will only be in our solar system for a short time.

Bit of a space enthusiast..which is why I know this but if you look up the following website it has information about moon number three.

If your purpose for this question is more to the philosophical than scientific! you should have directed that question to the Muslims not the Christians. Since the Christians believe in the Trinity, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, hence the three moon theory. In addition, Muslims are the one who believe in the moon good, aka Allah not the Christians. Get your facts corrected.

The way you represent this question, you are proving the Christians and what they believe about the Trinity. Think about it for a bit.

You didn't claim there are 3 moons!!! have you read your question!

ADD:
It seems that I did have a little problem with your question. I gave you more credit than you deserve. My mistake, I thought you were deeper than that!!. Elementary must be your cup of tea. Isn't my dear CJunk!

Very well, my good man. I will answer you in a way you can comprehend.

Can you prove it. I would like you to give us facts, scientific facts that what you assert is the truth that there are 3 moons for the earth. Can you prove it! or do you CHOOSE to believe there is only 1? if you can't prove your question! then why ask us the Christians. After all we choose to believe and have faith, and don't have to see to believe as you clearly must.

If you need any help to understand my reply. Please ask me, and I will try my best to help you out.

Amen, and Peace to you and yours.

Since I have a free choice, & yes I can only see one moon, But did I choose that there was only one moon for earth because I can only see one moon, no, Because In Gen.1:16 And God made 2 great lights, the greater light to rule the day & the lesser light (MOON) to rule the night, & do those who don't think God made other univereses or galaxcies He made the Stars also.

Did you know that Evolution fell upon it's self? it has no intermediate species and the only two of them were faked. Even today, animals that are supposed to be long gone are here, this is something Christians can see and I'm not even a Christian.

I think that I may speak for people of all faiths, what is your proof of more than one moon? Are you referring to the phases of the moon? Or are you a few feet above the moon?

If the Bible said there were three moons I would CHOOSE to believe it. But the Bible says there is only one moon so I CHOOSE to believe that.

I think your question belongs in the Astronomy section, not the Religion one.

Nice try, trying to bait us into a question equalizing two entirely different things -- astronomy and religion.

But, sorry, it didn't work.
