My 8 month old whippet husky x can chew through anything SO quickly. I am trying to find some toys for her that will last more than a few hours. So far all I can find are tennis balls, nylon dental bones, and this one stuffed animal she randomly decided not to chew.

i have 10 dogs... [a pit bull-german shepard-2 beagles-daushound mix -cha*wa*wa (spelt wrong) 3 collie mix-english bulldog]

and the best toy that they all enjoy, and i have spent alot of dollars trying to find the best is a
10foot piece of natural rope(hemp if you can find it) and just continuaully tie knots in it over & over again. This is the most played with toy and there are MANY.. it,s costly and can be dangerous if they swallow the chewed up toy.

The only Kong my dogs haven't destroyed in a few minutes is the original. I now give my dogs Natural bones, at least they last a few hours and sometimes days. Mine love to pop tennis balls and rip them to pieces. Pull toys last about 10 minutes if that. I have very Large dogs so I know where your coming from. Good Luck

A good chew toy can be the ones with a soft plushie-like part with a rope at the end. I have seen one a lot of times and I know that my dog would love it. sometimes dogs like to play tug and sometimes they would also like to just chew. And it is very strong...

Hope your husky wont destroy it!

not sure where you live but I have found a really great company in Victoria, Australia who make the most durable toys I have found. The website adress is http://www.aussiedog.com.au/
They make toys for zoo animals as well as dogs, horses etc. My dog chewed up even the original kong black variety designed for pitbulls but he hasn't managed to wreck these ones.
Good Luck

There is also a really hard plastic chewbone on the market, it comes in flavors I believe that they sell it a pet stores and I used to receive a catalog for all sorts of animal needs, dog, cat, and horse (sorry I can't remember the name of the catalog), but try like PetSmart for the bone.

Anything made by KONG. here's the site.
http://www.kongcompany.com/
They're stocked at most pet stores.

Added:

I use these for my bc x heelers and they last forever, they are pretty much indestructible. Or there is another called the everlasting treat toy. I find these at the animal shelter near me.

If your pet destroys them i think they offer a money back thing?? providing you've bought the right size.

Booda large Tug - you may play tug alongside with your canines or enable your canines play tug with one yet another. this is a healthful thank you to exercising your pooch. This tug is likewise immediately cleanable so it does not get all funky and depart your carpet stinking like canines slobber actual bones (uncooked)- Are good. My brother brings abode cow femur bones from his paintings and that they final a protracted time and the canines love em. purely make confident the bones are uncooked, as cooked bones tend to splinter and the canines can choke. Galileo Bone - between the main useful canines toys made. i opt to advise this one, it somewhat is, in case you may recover from the form........ Bully sticks - this would be a smoked, dried bull's penis (somewhat, I swear!). when you consider that Bully sticks are muscle, they do digest and could not smash off in chunks like rawhide. My canines love those issues. they seem to be slightly expensive, yet would be gotten for a good cost at canines shows or puppy expos. pay attention -those issues are pungent! the virtually Indestructible Ball - this is somewhat massive. canines will tension themselves loopy attempting to get it into their mouth. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is going to positioned on them out and final an somewhat long term. The Kevlar Frisbee - If there replaced into one toy i could especially advise this can be the toy. good as toys come, large exciting, and could be used virtually everywhere the Kevlar frisbee is a appropriate Pit Bull toy.

I don't know either. I have a Golden Retriever who could chew a tractor tire in no time flat (j/k) They just don't make good stuff for these dogs, and the ropes aren't made out of the good stuff anymore.
