What would God think of the polution and environmental destruction being done today?

He wouldn't like it, and that's why after the 1,000 year Reign of Jesus He is going to purge this planet of all polution & effects of the sinful use of this earth. Peter wrote, "The elements shall melt with fervent heat & this earth & all its works shall burn up."

This planet has been dying since the fall ,since before any pollutants. The scriptures say the whole of this creation groans and travails since its creation and the fall of Adam until now. Through the prophecies God knew long ago and told us that mankind would ultimately bring all of creation on earth to the brink of total destruction and nothing but his divine intervention and purging of the whole earth could stop it.

But nor would He be happy if people are using the environment as a scare tactic, in order to advance some political agenda.

God didn't pollute the world in the book of Job you'll read that Satan was thrown down from the heavens and to the earth and he is doing it and in a little while God will lock Satan and his demons in the Abyss and our world will be made new and that is in the book of revelatons. since Satan will be destroy after Christ's thousans year reign and Satan is the one who is polluting and destroying the earth I'd say he thinks badly of it because Satan is under a death sentence.
