prayer is no armor against the bumper of a truck at 55 mph. however common sense and logical decisions is what keeps most people alive day to day.

Those who believe in God, believe it or not, have common sense. God would not save anybody if they did such an experiment from death. The bible says don't tempt the Lord by doing foolish things like that. God helps people when no human being can help them. There are some crazy so-called Christians though that do things like handle snakes but they are out of their minds!

This wouldn't be good, because God gave us brains to use. Also we aren't to tempt the Lord this way. A better experiment would be check the survivors from such accidents and see how many of the live ones prayed for protection.

The Bible says God gave us a sound mind, so we don't cross "by faith" with blind sense.
The Bible also says we're not to tempt or test God's power, so you don't cross with blind sense and declare God's power false if u get knocked down for doing that. Please wake up, God is not against reason.
Just because God gave us free will and will not interfere in our choice, it doesn't mean you should be testing Him constantly by doing the wrong things and wait for Him to salvage it.
