Oh, you mean you actually pay for something? Silly you. You must know that half the people in London are claiming some sort of benefit that is coughed up by the rest of us; it's a queue - just join it, everybody else seems to have. Besides, there are some things we Londoners just can't do without - you know, the Polish nannies, the Cath Kidston nappy bags, the 4x4s and aggressive, money laundering city-boy husband to drive them, the little place in Tuscany/Provence/Cannes-sur-Mer etc. Darling, if you're complaining about the prices, you're either not rich enough or not poor enough.

Not only London, the U.K in general when I return, only for a short visit, I am amazed at the outrageous cost of living in Britain, old Victorian terrace houses selling for upwards of 350,000 pounds, a price that would buy you an estate here, cup of coffee 1.50 pounds,alien faces all over the place , pay and park in front of your own house and the whole place in decline.
