Good luck! I would recommend that, if possible, you attend classes in English as a Second Language. Another thing you might want to do is read English aloud for a half hour every day. Get out and talk to speakers of English. Go to English-speaking shops. When I'm in a country such as France or Germany, where my grasp of the language is limited, I often ask strangers for directions, just to start a conversation. Be careful whom you ask, of course, but have as many conversations as you can! And have fun!
