My 12 year old came home yesterday, and here is what she said:

"Mom, every day at school, I pee before lunch. After lunch, I get this tickly feeling like I have to go again. So I do, but not that much comes out. By the time I get home, It happends like, every 20 minutes."

Now, lately I HAVE seen her going to the bathroom a lot, but didn't think anything of it. Now she's starting to worry me. What is this?

Yeah, I agree .... with take her to the doctor.... the doctor will have her take a urine analysis to see if it is an infection.
Hopefully, it is nothing major... I have the same problem, I am on my twenties... and never being pregnant......
My urine analysis was normal. Because of that the doctor had to send me to a specialist where he checked my kidneys with a sonogram. My kidneys were fine. So, he said he has to perform a test, where they will insert kind of a little camera through "there" and see what it was wrong. I had to sign a paper saying that I was aware of the risks and I wont be held them liable for any damage...
I got scared and I didnt go back again.... but I do some exercises that the doctor recommended me of peeing a little then hold then pee then hold...
I hope it is something it can be easily treated....

It very much sounds as if she may have cystitis, which makes one want to urinate often but small amounts and is worse in cold conditions. It is an irritation which can be cured easily with prescribed medicine. Drinking cranberry juice is good for it and soothing, but does not cure.Take her to the doctor as soon as possible. He will check her out for diabetes at the same time.
