Islam is not the problem..............Extremist is the problem. If you are a real Christian, you would know not to judge others. It's not your job. There is some good in everyone and everything.

I spent five years in Saudi Arabia, and used the opportunity to scritinize Islam with some care; I read two separate translations of the Qur'an from cover to cover, along with numerous supporting materials of several types, and attended several novice classes. My conclusion: Islam is a hoax, Muhammad was a fraud, and you've been had. There is a major blunder in the Qur'an, and it has to do with the prohibition of interest. This effectively outlaws debt financing, leaving only equity financing as the way to finance projects. This is acceptable (if clumsy) if you are building a factory, but it is totally inadequate if you are buying a house or a personal automobile: how, in such case, can you identify a return on investment to give back to the financier? The trade-off between capital and the return on it is one of the most fundamental principles of economics, and the Qur'an got it wrong. The net result has been a disaster for Arabian society. It should be obvious that any error in a purportedly god-given text renders the whole thing invalid.

Yes, i have tried to discover Islam!

Back in the early 70s, a man, who was a student of Islam told/tell me that we were cousins...me a student of christianity.

He explained to me how Ishmael and Isaac were half brothers. To me this was REVELATION.

As the years passed by i would often wonder how this "riff" between the Muslim and the Jew could be healed. I would consider the tragedy of Father Abraham, when Sarai his wife told him to get rid of his firstborn son: Ishmael and cast him and his mother into the Desert, to consider the pain he must have felt and then as the years passed he was asked by the Lord to sacrifice Isaac. Mercy! "The Bosom of Abraham"

This "Riff", this "tear", this "ripped apart"...how can it be healed?

Have I tried to discover Islam? Yes.

In the Bosom of Father Abraham there is Mercy.

Yes, I was born in a Pakistani Muslim family America and then moved to Canada. I didn't have much religious knowledge except when I was really little when I read the Qu'ran phonetically in Arabic. I got really corrupted in highschool, you know all the partying and what not. When I visited Pakistan in summer of grade 11 God by his grace, and mercy allowed me knowledge. I read the entire Qu'ran in English and understood it. I came back focused on my studies instead of stupid stuff, aced my senior year and now I am in University studying science. And in my free time I read Tafsir Ibn Kathir the explanation of the Qu'ran.

Peace Be With You

I tried reading about it and I did not like what I found. I can't see where there is anything good about hatred for other people. The God of the Christians is love itself and is all about peace. He wants to save everybody and loves everybody no matter who they are or what they have done. He forgives anyone who is willing to ask.

I discovered Islam when a mortar shell blew me into a pit and trashed my leg. Islam the religion of choice, for bomb experts.
I hate it!
