There are many religions, like Hindu's talk to Krishna, JW's to Jehovah, Shinto to the Sun God and so and so on, how do they know they aren't just talking to themselves? Being in love makes you high and mists your judgement. How do they know are not just being in love with their own inner voices?

hahahah u raise a good question:

So all the religoins talk to god. Clearly only religion can be actually be talking to god. SO that means all the wrong ones are talking to themselves.

That means the talking to themselves god is so convincine that you cant tell the difference from the real god.

Furthermore, who really knows if they are talking to the real god, since all the gods they are talking to are so convincing.

maybe its bioliical

They don't know, except through faith. This is a very big point when discussing the existence of God: many people describe religious experiences (like talking to God through prayer, or seeing a vision, or feeling 'a presence') and say they are proof that God exists, but the reality of it is that you can't know whether these are genuine or just hallucinations brought on by mental illness or drugs.

I know because my God has answers my prayers. Sometimes immediately, sometimes later, but always. Sometimes his answers are so amazing that you couldn't deny ever that he was responsible. I know that if I ask Jehovah for anything, and it is his will, he will grant it to me, I have NO doubt. I keep in mind the following scripture whenever I approach Jehovah in prayer:
"But let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. 7 In fact, let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from Jehovah; 8 he is an indecisive man, unsteady in all his ways." Timothy 1:6

If you have ever had a "gut" instinct, an intuition about something without any tangible evidence and that unction or gut instinct or intuition was dead on in saving your life , or he;ping you make the right decision etc. Then you know how people know prayers are heard and answered. If you never have had the above I ask you if you have yet lived?

merely approximately all human beings i understand who isn't an athiest has some undertaking with a minimum of certainly one of their faith's ideals. i understand a great number of Catholics who factor that confesion is a crock. i understand a great number of Catholics who use beginning administration. i understand a great number of expert-determination Christians. I disagree with merely approximately each and every thing the Christian Church teaches, that's why I left and located a extra useful suitable direction for me in my opinion. you do no longer would desire to boost into Christian to boost right into a non secular being. there are a number of faiths available. I propose you do a great number of examining on distinctive international religions and have a great number of 'self discovery' time earlier you bounce into something.

People ARE talking to themselves IF they do not believe in God. They may as well be. Some people today think that they are God.

Why would we think that we are not talking to ourselves, are we not the center of our own Universe and therefore a God or Goddess ourselves. We are but a part of the Divine, the Divine is not a seperate identity but a part of us all.

Ironically, the one immutable requirement for prayers to be heard by God is... ...FAITH.

Even a non-Christian, even a person entirely unfamiliar with the bible, unfamiliar with the idea of praying "in Jesus' name", unfamiliar with God's will (such as "God please kill my neighbor"), unfamiliar with the importance of using the personal name "Jehovah"... even these persons who pray sincerely and in faith can rightly hope that God hears their prayers.

Faith is the one absolute requirement.

(Mark 11:24) All the [proper] things you pray and ask for have FAITH that you have practically received, and you will have them [caps added]

(Matthew 21:22) And all the [proper] things you ask in prayer, having FAITH, you will receive.” [caps added]
