There isnt alot you can do to get rid of them they have to just run their course until they go away. Calamine lotion is ok to use, and like the person above me said an oatmeal bath. If you are a drinking person put just a little whiskey with Coke, Pepsi or whatever just enough to ease the itch!!! Good luck.

No cure for chickenpox. Its a virus and u just have to wait it out. U can help alieviate the itching etc by using either calmonine lotion or similiar and take paracetamol for temps. I got chicken pox at the age of 32 from my daughter and i was soooooooo ill with it. When my youngest daughter was born, at age 9 months i put her in a cot with a friend's kid who had the virus. She caught it but not as severe as i had it. Get it over and done with as small children.
