Here is my point! As a person who knows God and am myself blessed to know God. I desire that you also may know God. Many think i am bashing the people of Islam. Actually I am not, I am pointing to the truth of God. As sure as the day and night exist God exist. But you can't find him he has to find you. That is why Jesus was sent. Jesus is the messiah. Some people call him a prophet. He was the redeemer of all mankind, weather you are a christian a muslims or a jew, or perhaps you have not faith.
Then you read the old testiment in the bible you are seeing God as the Father. He is angry at sin and he is actually brutal to the enemy of his bride the nation of Israel. But the old testiment is rally about the condition of man and mans heart. We see menkind at there very worst. And we see a angry God who demands holyness.
Jesus is professed by many as not being the son of God. Yeat the prophets even spoke of him coming in the torah. In the quran which has been changed.

It was once wrote in the quran that Jesus is the son of GOD. It was also wrote that the trinity is correct in the quran. So in fact your book is not from God for one sura states Allah will destory anyone who changes the book.
You can not make it to heaven unless you know Jesus as Lord and savior.
To know him will mean you have to study what he said and learn about him. Your faith promotes him as a prophet if you are muslim. He is much more then a prophet. Jesus is God amoung men in the form of man. He had to come as a men and suffer as a man to be able to forgive man of mans sin. He purchased a opterunity for all people to Know God.

So the real question is have you studied Jesus and what he taught people. You may claim he is a prophet. But do you know him. God is love. Is that the picture you are seeing of God in the quran. Is God a God of mercy. Jesus is Gods mercy poured out for a sinnful world that needed salvation. Jesus is our only hope of every coming to the father. What we could not do because of sin he did. So did Muhammad every die on a cross for your sins. Jesus did. Did Muhammad every allow people to beat him for your healing Jesus did. Did Muhammad every suffer humiliation for you, Jesus did. True holyness come in humility. Not mans kind of humility but in the kind that Jesus showed us. Do you Know GOD. If you do not know his son you do not know him.

I sort of recollect that Old Testament calls upon God in the name of Adonai, ie. the Lord of Armies, but I could be mistaken. On the other hand, the syllab "slam" in Islam mean "Peace". Curious, what?
Let God be God. His ways are unscrutable, and I doubt there's any person living on this Earth of ours who's got a red telephone line going up to wherever He stands. I respect your assessments, but you're hardly the only one around to be respected. Many were called, and most were found wanting, right?

You say one thing in your question that needs correcting. I am only trying to help, and yes I believe in God. You say that God has to find you. God has not lost anyone as He knows where we all are. Please be more careful in your questions as some will find a way to turn it against you if it is like that. I am not doing that, but only am trying to help as I have said. The only ones He has *lost* are the ones who reject Him.
