No, love is not enough. You can fall in love with someone who isn't enough like you to be compatible for the long haul. Yes there has to be respect, and communication, and passion, and trust, etc... but sometimes that's not enough. Also, sometimes people have unresolved issues or addictions that prevent them from reciprocating the love they feel for you in constructive ways. Sometimes people can overcome that, and return to a healthy, loving state of being... but not always. And love alone doesn't cure those things, only that person's willingness to get help and work though it will. I don't mean to be pessimistic, but the truth is that sometimes we can fall in love with the wrong person... and love alone isn't enough to make it work.

Love is the result of trust!
With Love and trust together, you have pretty much everything needed for a relationship to function. Both should feel the same way!

In most cases unless a 3rd world nation, love fades with the lack of money, so no, apparently it alone is not enough, at least for the duration.

no. it takes far more than that. one should be more dedicated and concern to the relationship to grow more. You need to manifest that love in order for the relationship to flow and grow on heights. you have to show it on actions.

trust, communication, acceptance, tolerance, patience, compassion, kindness, spirituality, encouragement....these and more are love......yes, love is nearly enough....that's the spiritual foundation or 6th sense needed to bind the relationship...for it to continue, to grow, to flourish.

Love is a start. But you also need "like", communication, commitment, dedication, faithfulness, honesty, trust.
