saying some thing hurtful back isn't' going to be the answer. angry is never the best way to go. ppl always seem to hurt the ppl that they love the most. find out why that person said that to you that hurt your feelings. and let that person know just how much they hurt you. wait till your both not mad any more, and have a heart to heart talk about what happen. if they don't care just how much they hurt you, then that person isn't' right for you. you shouldn't have to life with some one who dereguards your feelings like that. and vs versa.

Sweety it's never easy to deal with pain inflicted by loved ones or close people. The best thing to do is just walk away.Dont say anything, be the bigger person. It also depends on what their saying also.Ask them why they are doing this to you? Dont they know it hurts you? Ask them questions so you can get answers from them.If they keep on acting the way they are acting and hurting you intentionally despite your feelings...Just walk away.Dont go and argue and put yourself down. What hurts the most is when someone dosent give you any feedback and just ignores you. You wonder why it didnt affect them or why they didnt lash out and act childish? Who knows..Their probally trying to push you to the edge! I know it's hard to just walk away and try and be happy knowing you have a war going on against you, but its the best thing to do sweety. They probably need some time to think things out themselves.God works in mysterious ways. Its hard to say because I dont know what family members they are, what their saying to hurt you and how did this all start? Just distance yourself from people like that.It hurts, but in the end you'll pull through! Best of wishes, good luck.

best thing is to take time to think of what it is that hurt you and if you should try to repair the relationship. Try to make a time to confront the person/s. friends/ family/spouse/children...its all the same...it's a choice you make to open up and make the relationship last or push them out of your life. Nothing in life that is worth having is easy. bite the bullet, climb the mountain, do what you have to do and say. try and try again. even if it is you that was hurt...if you want the relationship...you make the move.
courage, strength dear. good luck to you

It depends on what they are saying.
I generally ignore the person who is being hurtful, I just sit there as if they have said nothing.
If the will not give up, I say to them "that's not very nice."
Hope this helps.

i usually apply this verse:
A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1)

Don't reply. Simply don't spend any time around them anymore.
