Some standard audition advice:
Traditional audition attire is either black dress pants or a knee-length black skirt and a solid red or black top with sleeves and without cleavage; the whole outfit should A) evoke the character you're going for, and B) be professional looking. What if I'm auditioning for a teenage rebel, you say? Your friend can evoke that image without jeans and a tube top; never never never go to an audition "in costume". Make-up should be natural, and her hair can be down but should be out of her face. Do not wear a hat. Bring dance clothes for the dance audition. Wear character shoes if she has them, otherwise any closed-toe black shoes will do, but bring some shoes that are comfortable to dance in. (If your friend wants to stand out as 'wacky', perhaps a funky scarf or other accessory would to the trick.)
If she gets called back, she should wear what she wore for the first audition so it's easier for the director to remember her. That way when she walks on stage the director goes, "Oh yeah, her, I remember her. I liked her." and she's already off to a great start.
She should have her song (if it's a musical audition) and monologue memorized ASAP. Practice in front of friends and ask for feedback. Once the song/monologue is memorized, she should rest her voice. Drink lots of water to keep her voice hydrated, and make sure she warms up and runs through her audition material once about an hour or so before the audition. She needs to show up to the audition site at least a half hour early.
And always be nice to everyone. You never know what the runners tell the directors in between auditionees!
Stand up straight and SMILE! Tell your friend to break a leg!

read the play and know your stuff before you go into the audition. Be yourself, don't try to guess what the director wants. However, if you want to come across as wacky and original, you have to be that, not just project it. Try getting the job first, then be wacky and original. Or start your own company that's wacky and original and then you'll be in the hiring and firing seat.

I'm not a singer...but anyways Be calm, do not be nervous...or at least try not to be. Relax. Also, pick a song that you think you are very good at that can bring out the best in your voice. Don't pick some song liek Whitney Houston if you know your voice can't do it lol. I'd also have to say, show some personality. What makes you stand out from the rest besides your voice? Watch American Idol and see who sucks at auditioning lol!

There is a famous story about Barbara Striesand when she was young and unknown. She arrived for an audition wearing an enormous coat and vigorously chewing gum. She walked on stage, still in the coat, and said, "I gotta fill this place?" Then she stuck her gum under the seat of the stool that was on stage, dropped the coat and SANG.
After she left, the director sent his assistant to clean the gum off the underside of the stool ... but there was was none! The gum-chewing had been an act. It made her memorable, at least to that director.

Imagine everyone naked! Then she should just be herself - if she's wacky and original, this will come across in the audition

Clean Underwear (in case of casting couch)
Clean Tissue (in case of rejection)
and most importantly
someone trying to be 'wacky' will never be 'original'.
Your friend must and can only attend an audition as herself- honesty in such circumstances is the key. transform into the role in front of the director/ cast and show her morphic abilities would be my best advice.

Tell her to take a pine apple with her.
When she walks in the room she should just put it on the floor, ignore it, and carry on with her audition.
If they ask her why it's there, then it is just a strange object that will help the auditioneers to remember her audition.
