hi, could anyone please let me know what the life expectancy of a cancer patient may be? here are the details: brain methastases (7 tumors, quite large, inoperable), originating either in the breast or the tyroid. 58 yrs, female, heavy smoker... has developed a left hand side paralysis due to brain tumors.

there is a chart for every cancer by age and by stage but, hate to tell you, but 7 inoperatable tumors on the brain is usualy fatal rather quickly.

My friend who is 30yrs old found out she had 4 brain tumours mid November 06 that had orignated from either breast or bowel,she sadly died 23rd Dec 06 it took 5 weeks.I'm saddened but happy to say that she was out with friends the night before and looked very healthy and happy,she went to bed that night and never woke up again. God love her.

My mom had neuroblastoma (primary brain tumor age 69), she told the doctor he couldn't know how long she would live only God knew that for sure.
He told us (out of her room) he would hope for 6 months....she lived just over 2 years.
