I stress so much for stupid reasons, i have like 101 things going round in my head at once. I try and do things all at once instead of prioritising them and taking my time, i dont know whats up i dont feel depressed or anything, if anything very happy lifes going well but i still stress. i seem to take on peoples problems i like to listen, i like to help but all my family and friends are so selfish is mad, they dont care much for me just themselves. i dont get it coz i could never be like that. maybe im just a push over? i have a mum who is very depressed and ive taken the mother role for here so things are messed up there but i cant seem to do anything coz ill make things worse. sometimes i just feel like screaming. but i just dont like to loose it. i dont know whats up with me, im not depressed im just get a little angry sometimes, and dont relaese it so it makes me a bit worse. any advice?

My mumis recieving plenty help, plenty drugs and therapy. im 19 years old i have had a lot of crap over the last few years but ive coped with it well, i am a positive person. I do think i need to see a therapist though, but how easy is it to get one? and i bet they aint cheap?

Sometime you'll see that there's no reason of being stressed for everything.
Until then try to think reasonably and find people that are close to you that can relax you.

You don't say how old you are, but as you mentioned you feel like screaming. Do it. Scream, I'll tell you it will help. It won't cure it but you'll be amazed. Tell your mum or whoever you are with you're just off to your room for a good scream. And do it.
You sound such a lovely person and I would love to have you as a friend. Don't change the way you are, just change your friends maybe, or back off a little bit. I hope you mum is receiving help for her depression, if not talk to her and ask her to get help, tell her how you feel. Good luck. x

That is my exact problem too. I stress over EVERYTHING. I've been taking care of my mom for a while too because it was more like I was the mom and she was the kid ya know? I've gotten away from her now though. But if you feel like you just have to scream, then do it. Just let it out because it will only build up and get worse. I usually just break down and cry when I get like that and then afterwards I feel a million times better.

It sounds to me like you have a lot going on in your life to be stressed about!! BUT it is worth consulting a psychologist for an assessment. There is a disorder known as generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) which basically means that you have a lower threshold to stress than most people. GAD is very easily treated via cognitive-behavioural therapy. It is interesting that GAD is correlated to a form of depression known coloquially as "the smiling depressive". Basically this term is used to describe someone who is a cheerful person, who claims they are not depressed, however they are usually poorly motivated, indecisive, constantly procrastinate etc.

Well I'm going to tell you this , that the longer you wait, the longer you are going to carry that weight. Get help as soon as you can find it. I am also a good person and love to help others as well as see others be happy. Don't go on thinking that you'll do this tommorrow, do it know, for the sake of your on well being. You can get lost very easily in today's world and really , life is too short to go on feeling sorry,for your self and always wondering what its like to be Happy.

U sound like me, learn to relax, learn some breathing exercises, and take a few valium daily, but most of all just remember worrying want change the future, we are all going to die and then it wont matter so just live life day by day and try and enjoy the time you have left.

If You are Too much in Stress...Go and Visit to Nursery (or Primary School).
If You feel too Happy...Go and Visit to the Hospital and Help just one person.

i have no advice my mum says i worry in case there's something to worry about i try not to stress to much my husband says i let people take advantage of me and walk all over me i just try every morning not to worry or stress or get pushed around (not that it works that often!!!) take care xxx
