I have a gripe with Manic Panic. I've used their colors before, and I will never buy them again. The color in the jar is not the color you end up with. They wash out incredibly fast and the method of dyeing is a pain in the butt! Once you put the dye in you have to comb it through your hair until it is "frothy", which takes forever especially if you have hair of any real length.
The best dye I've found for awesome colors is either Special Effects (someone mentioned that and they are right) or Raw, both of which are available for purchase online, or at Hot Topic. I know from experience that their reds are the best you can get, which is saying something because reds are notorious for being difficult to maintain.

Manic Panic is just vegetable dye. It doesn't damage your hair after you use it. However, it doesn't really last as long as most temporary dyes. If you want longer-lasting color in unnatural shades, I would highly recommend a brand called Special Effects [SFX].

The word says it all. It's a semi color so it will wash out depending on your natural color if it's light it will last a long time.
Be sure you choose the right color for you..
Good Luck
