Volume 9, Book 83, Number 17:
Narrated 'Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle said, "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims."
Bukhari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 445:
Narrated 'Abdullah:
The Prophet said, "Gabriel said to me, 'Whoever amongst your followers die without having worshipped others besides Allah, will enter Paradise (or will not enter the (Hell) Fire)." The Prophet asked. "Even if he has committed illegal sexual intercourse or theft?" He replied, "Even then."
So your book is correc then tell me were the error lies between these two teaching of the muslim faith.

No offense intended. Sounds like any other organized religion. All factions of organized religion are responsible for more human (and some cases animal) deaths than any other plagues or natural disasters known to man. Even if our planet was to be struck by an asteroid, not that many, man nor beast, would die in comparison to over the centuries of killing in the name of SOME god. Sad but true.
Try this...take a drive to a nice beach on a warm day, kick off your shoes and just walk. Trust me. And if this doesn't wake you up, then sit and continue to read "holy book" over and over and over and think of ways to interpret it any way you want.
PEACE!!!

hi, first it is not quran, this is hadeth. the first says that if you kill someone for other reason than mentioned above , you will have sin, this sin can enter you hell ( I think the same is in christian). but God can excuse everything!(if he wants). now if you have illegal sexual intercourse you must be punished ( there are more than one way, but if you are married you must be killed) unfortunately in this days they are not killed. in your religion there is no punishment so illegal intercourse become legal, look at your country , how many children don't know their fathers, how many children are killed(before born, or when they are born) because their mothers are afraid, how many mothers raise children without help, and how many girls are raped. Islam value women, and gave her many rights, we haven't problems like that.

Yo-Yo!! Who gives a rat's rear end.!!
This is my United States! Our religion is Christianity. Our forefathers fought the Britains to live here. The Muslims had nothing to do with building this great country, so take your intellectual discourse to the middle east countries, cause the book of the quran is not the Bible here.

Hold on for a moment. In one case they are talking about what things get the death penalty in court. In the other they are talking about being allowed into heaven.
It is similar to the Christian concept of salvation by faith.
I think that all of this religion stuff is balony though.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Those two quotes are not from the Qur'an, they are from Hadith. And I don't see the conflict.
