Hey Paul :)
Personally, I think you do make a difference to this world, even if you can't see it. We never know how us dying would affect others. Even people who don't like us wouldn't want us dead.
I'm hoping you are not thinking of suicide, and if you are, reach out to me - I'm here

Of course you matter, we all do. If everyone said what you'd said and they all removed themselves, there would be nobody left and the world would be empty of people. You may be only one of lots as far as the world is concerned, but you are one of a much smaller number to your family and friends. You would be surprised how much you would be missed by enexpected people even.
New Year's Resolution - take a step towards raising your self esteem. (Go to the doctor to get depression treated, do some charity work, join a club, walk someone's dog.....often it's the little things in life that make us happy.)

About a year ago a man who worked in our local supermarket died, he was only in his 20s. I didn't know him, didn't speak to him and didn't even know his name, I just knew him from appearance. When I found out he had died, I was really shocked and it hit me in a big way for some reason. We don't know how our lives affect others, we just have no idea. I was also very ill in hospital once and was given only hours to live, luckily I recovered after the operation. When I got home a few weeks later, I had cards and flowers from people I didn't even know! Please have a think about this, I hope you feel better about things. You sound pretty down, maybe find someone you can talk to. Good luck.

I think lots of people would care if you weren't alive anymore. You are important to lots of people, you just don't know it. You do impact many other peoples lives thru your actions. Who knows how many lives you have touched and will continue to touch in your life? There's more to life than thinking inside the box (thinking the world could go on without you just fine.) Think of all the good you could be doing for others right now instead of thinking that you want to die.

U see am just another face in the crowd but why should all the other faces matter if my life is not dependant upon them? To experience is better than never to have. Don't 4get that the thing that separate joyous moments from one another are the down n' low moments - its reality! But its still no excuse for negative thoughts. Sobber up man, raise ur head, chest out, n walk the walk! Fly high...........

hey! i have read quite a few of your questions and you sound very unhappy! i have been at the stage you are at now. i was very badly depressed. self harming, thinking about suicide etc..i have seen councellors and it didnt work.
however...despite all this i managed (after what seemed an eternity) to convince myself to visit a dr who gave me anti-depressants,i was on them for 7 months.
i have been off them for a few years now and my life is on the up!
i now have a wonderful fiance and are planning to get married soon,i have a beautiful baby boy and we are looking to get a new house. i still have no confidence and hate myself but i have now realised that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that life can be great.
the same will happen to you too! it might be tomorrow or 20-30 years etc.. but it WILL happen! please dont give up on everything. there are alot of people who love you and will help you if you ask.
please dont let things be like this..talk to someone and things will look better. i'm not promising straight away but with time you will find your purpose in life too.
please take care of yourself..i will think of you and pray that you find it in you to get help!

Your family and friends would be hurt I'm sure. We all go eventually, and in the grand scale of things one day we'll all be forgotten. Still worth making an effort to enjoy life while we are here though.

I care, we all care at Yahoo Answers.
We are all here for a reason, fulfil it and go. But that reason does make a difference to the world, big or small...
If ur feeling down, please don't.. be positive and live positive, and make a difference to yourself, because u are part of the world.

.......still laugh.... of course... All are like that . We cannot carry our sorrows always with us. People forget the sad news and good news after some time. That is a God gift..... other wise it is not possible for a person to ........continue life with all worries.....
