have you got a freecycle in the area you live.you go on yahoo and type the area you live and see if there is a group in your area.then join it and advetise it it is so people can get rid of things free and get things free.

Salvation army or any like them will take it, but you have to drop it off somewhere where it won't be sitting out in the elements, like at the shop or during open hours at a drop off center. Call around, some charities will actually come and pick up larger items themselves.

take it to a hotel and throw it in the pool from the balcony. Trick is to get a long extention cord so it is still playing when it hits

you can send to a friend of yours who doesn't have t.v. or give it to less fortunate people orphanage of home for the aged. or simply place it somewhere in your house were you can still use it like in the garrage or kitchen
