I want to try a recipe and she eats with us but was unsure if she could eat those soft cheeses at this age. (I know you need to be careful with them eating certain cheeses when they are weaning but unsure when this stops!)

If all she is eating is vegetables I can understand your concern. At a year and a half old they should be eating just about everything. I would try cutting pizza in small pieces and giving that to her. Also you can make fun shaped sandwiches with cooking cutters and give them to her. Make silly pancakes with little raisin eyes. Make her food more fun and she will begin to eat more things. Give her tiny bits of meat on a small plate and leave the veggies just out of reach adn let her know when she is done with the other food you will give her her veggies. Vegetables are great for a toddler but you are right they need more nourishment than that. Try a game to get her to eat other things. I am sure it will all work out do not give up and do not listen to others telling you it is fine for your child to just live off of vegetables. I am a mother of 9 and have a 6 month old that eats cereal fruits veggies, and meats. He eats donuts and cheese and anything he can gum to death. You are being a good mother to be concerned. I am confident you will get her on the right track.
