You know how we came from our mothers and fathers. Well...God had to have come from somewhere right?

Well...whats your belief? where did God come from?

If there is a God, do you really think He or any other deity wouldn't be completely beyond the understanding of human beings, no matter how much we think we know? For example, how do we know that He may have never been born? That He might have always existed instead of crawling out of some kind of celestial spawning pool?

So why did he put us in "life"? A test to select those worthy of eternal life? Or it could be that he has moved on and abandoned us (a real possiblity) for all we know, with the exceptions of a few prophets to pull us back on track?

The Garden of Eden story? There's been more than one version of it (where Adam has a first wife) so I have serious doubts about it. But if anything, I think it's symbolic of humans becoming intelligent beings and thus becoming fully responsible for their wrongs.

Whether God is the sentient space/time continuum or simply a being waiting in another dimension for his children to return to Him, no one will ever know, so I hope no one loses sleep over this.

But if we die and go to oblivion, it wouldn't have mattered if we believed in a God or not. so for the sake of unity in this life, ++ it's better for unbelievers to LET SLEEPING DOGS LIE instead of getting condescending with them ++. Thank you.

I believe in no God, I'm Atheist. But I do believe in History, Science and Archaeology. The ancient Sumerian tablets give a reasonable version of the story (check the Lost Book of Enki if you wish;). One day Science will find all the answers, no doubt about it;).
