It's a bit old fashioned now, but I love the Body Shop White Musk. It's light, fresh and quite sexy smelling, I have worn it for years, and it still smells gorgeous. In fact I have worn it for so long that I even smell of it when I am not wearing it. I find that "layering" the fragrance makes it last longer, so use the scented body wash in the shower, followed by the scented body lotion, then the body mist spray, then just a squirt of perfume, it smells deep and and interesting that way.

They make perfumes just for weddings? If that's true, how big is the bottle? Anything larger than a few drops' capacity is a bit of an insult, I'd think.

btw, it's "smelled". "Smelt" is a kind of fish, which is not a good scent for your wedding.

I agree that Vera Wang is a georgous perfume but I prefer Romance by Ralph Lauren.

You don't want anything too strong or overpwering like Allure, although I do like that - you should have something like, clean and fresh!!

Because you're going to be in close contact with people, meeting and greeting them I suggest you wear something light and perhaps floral, like Ralph Lauren's Romance. However, I also like Chanel's Coco Madeimoseille which lasts all day if you get the Eau de Parfum. It smells lush!!

I chose Chanel No5 for my wedding last year. It is a classic perfume and is special for my family and 5 is my husbands lucky number (I know it's all silly but it meant alot to me!). By chosing one of the classics you know that you will always be able to get hold of it, it won't go out of fashion.

For me it's a toss up between Ralp Lauren Romance or Beautiful by Este Lauder.

You dont want anything overpowering..something light. I used Calvin Klein Eternity MOMENT. The name was quite appropriate too!!
(and just a tip to save money - cos i know how expexnsive weddings can be! - go to your local perfumery...try different frangrances over several weeks...and when you find one that you like...go and buy it on ebay or somewhere similar! I saved a packet!!)
