Dogs can get parvovirus and distemper at any age its just that pups and elderly dogs are more suseptible to getting these diseases as their immune system is not as strong as adults, this is why you must keep dogs vaccines up to date

there's no age limit exactly. i've seen a 5 year old dog vaccinated get parvo. it all depends on the dog's immune system. but in general it's a puppy disease, usually pups under a year of age that have not been properly vaccinated or finished out their series of vaccines. and for distemper, any unvaccinated dog can get it. but it's more common in puppies as well. vaccinate your dog per your vet reccomendation and you'll know you've done everything you can to prevent it.
