it depends on the area that your physio is working on.
i have pain after physio and she says it is because my body is retraining the muscles that i havent been using properly, and my brain is like...eh whats going on there then...
have you asked your physio? dont just accept it as normal, get their advice.
hope you feel better soon

I am an alternative medicinal therapist this includes massage, Your muscles are not used to being worked, you may have pulled a muscle. These neck and shoulder muscles are very sensitive. Your head is sitting right on the top and the weight it has to support makes these muscles prone to damage. Stop exercising until they have repaired themselves. I recommend Anica cream for this. My patients use it and I have had no complaints. Try also aromatherapy oils in your bath, 3 drop of myrrh,3 camomile and 3 of lavender. You can also add this amount to 15ml of grapseed oil and get someone to massage it in for you. Or see a massage therapist, the charge is about £20 per session

You probably have a high-blood pressure or high cholesterol. You may also be diabetic. Call and check with your Doctor immediately just to be safe.
