There are several methods of treatment which she could try.
1. Steroid injections whcih flatten out the skin (takes anywhere between 5-10 injections) But they are expensive (Kenacort 20mg is the best should you choose it)
2. Frozen off
3. Pressure Collegan Sheets (Siligel $70) You will need to wash them everyday as they stick directly onto the scar
4.Scar Fade or Laser fade Cream
5. Laser Treatment (scar does flatten, but may reappear)
6. Cutting out the scars (Don't recommend it, I did it & I got a bigger scar out of it)

There are a number of different creams on the market, but I use to have keloids & I have found the only methods that worked for me is steroid injections & scar fade cream
Now you can hardly tell at all

You need to see a dermatologist. He can evaluate and send you to a plastic surgeon.

Every day new creams are coming out some work some do not.
