Well, my gf broke up with me a year and a couple of months ago because I kissed another girl while I was drunk. At first, it seemed like we were going to make it through this problem but she just couldn't be with me anymore and decided never to be with me. I still talked to her for awhile and I thought we would still be able to surpass her commitment of not being with me, but I gave her time to think about the relationship and since then she hardly talks to me. I've tried to reach out before with no success but that was during school and now we're on winter break. I shaped up my mind and body. I haven't seen her for more than 6 months and I just want to see her. I was wondering if it's wise to try to get into contact with her again to try to make things work again, or just forget about her and just move on? and if I do move on should I see her one more time before I do it or continue to not talking to her and live my life?

I think she wanted to get out of this relationship anyways and found a reasonable excuse to get out. She has moved on and is happy. I suggest that you move on. Don't force yourself to forget her or feel guilty. She chose the path she wanted, you choose yours.

Maybe contact her and try to set up a time to go to lunch or coffee, nothing romantic, just to catch up. If she says no, at least you'll no you gave it a shot and not wonder "what if". If she says yes, feel her out and see if she still seems interested in you. However, if she can't get passed that kiss and trust you again, you shouldn't be together because if you have no trust the relationship will be hell for the both of you. Hope this helps!

you should try to talk to her for closure. you'll never know. maybe when you meet again youll realize its not the same anymore, or maybe you still love each other. either way, its good to know rather than think about what ifs every now and then. regrets are hard to deal with.

but a good 6 months without contact can tell many things, most probably she has moved on. just be ready to move on with your life is theres no mutual love (or trust) anymore.

best of luck.
