No. Absolutely not. Once it becomes an addiction, a habit controls you and you no loger control it. When you lose control over what you do, it cannot be good or healthy.

I would say no.
All addictions, even "healthy" ones are bad for you. Just for example, if you always want to eat overly healthy, it may become an obsession and you could end up starving yourself ala Nicole Ritchie.
Someone also mentioned jogging, which is great if you do it, but once again it could get to a point where you are putting your body through huge stress which is not good for you.
If anything becomes an addiction, then it means that it controls your life which would not alllow you time for other things which are just as important. This is quite obviously not a good thing.
I think "Everything in Moderation" is a good slogan to live by.

Ohhh, good question! Well, I suppose it depends on how you define addiction. I would define it as an obsession with something that consumes you to the point where you are compelled to act on the obsession at the cost of other important aspects of life.
Drugs, alcohol, etc. are obvious addictions that are bad. You can die from them, injure yourself or someone else as a result of using them. Running, on the other hand, is a good thing. It's healthy. It can prolong your life and boost the quality of it. It also gives you a temporary rush of endorphines that feels pretty fantastic.
So, let's say you're addicted to running. Is that a bad thing? Well, if your running begins to take over your life to the point where relationships suffer, work suffers, you fail to complete other important tasks, and the responsibilites of life fall by the wayside, then running is bad.
There's a thin line between habit and addiction. I think habit can be a good thing, whereas addiction is not. At least not how I've defined it.

There was not suppose to be any lust. We as humans needed companionship, love and even to have children. Because in a family arrangement we had persons around us who were special and loved us and cared what happened to us. Some people have misused that special bond and only think of self gratification that is selfish and childish. No true love can come from such an arrangement.

addictions are neither healthy nor unhealthy, it is a lifestyle choice Celebrity girl. An addiction can be said to be something that when you cannot have that thing, you kinda suffer or maybe you suffer alot. Having an addiction allows a certain quality of life WHILE not having that addiction allows for another,
and it is a question of which quality of life does one want?

I can say that I am ADDICTED to yoga. I can control my addiction that I can go to other places without spazzing because I'm not doing yoga but if I have some free time at my house then I'll do yoga and I set time for classes and things like that and I consider that healthy!

Addiction is by its very nature maladaptive either psychologically or physiologically. It therefore cannot be healthy.
