My friend, who is a guy, who I like, always talks about how hot famous women are. He even has a 'hit list' of all the celebrity women he would like to tap. This makes me feel terrible how can I cope or live up to this standard? What should I do?

Come up with your own list of hot celebrity men and start talking about them when he starts talking about celebrity women and hopefully he will see how foolish he looks.

Don't let that kind of stuff bother you. Those women are just fantasies to him and with their stylists, trainers, and the airbrushing that is done to their photos, there's no way any real woman can compete. Also, don't you have any male celebrities that you think are hot? Does thinking they're hot make you think this guy friend isn't hot too? Both my boyfriend and I have famous people that we would put on a "hit list" and we are both very open about it. It's normal. Just be confident with being a hot "normal" person.

Find pictures of all of them without their make up on and see how quickly that "hit list" goes down! LOL!

Besides, trying to live up to the media is a waste. There are ppl in the media who can't even live up to the media. (usually the "stars" that get extra stressed cause of demands on their image and start doing crazy stuff. i.e: anorexia)

Maybe you should ask him to not talk to you about that stuff. If that doesn't work, maybe you can make your own "hit list". Not, necessiarly, the guys you wanna "tap", but guys in the media U happen to be attracted to.

Hope this helps.

Let the guy have his fun in fantasizing.....I think it's totally harmless...espacially if he doesn't have a girlfriend....Why are you feeling so terrible for?? If you can't win em' join em'........It can be fun if you try it too...... and if you don't like it then don't hang out with him if you can't cope......there a somethings that make people happy so why take it away from him?.....this is just a phrase......eventually when he has a gf, he may come out of it.....in the meantime let him have his 'fillers'.

You are being rediculous to think that you can compare to his fantasy women. That is why they are fantasy because he will never have them. If he expects women to be like celebrities, you don't want him anyway. His standards are way too high. Those women have teams of people to make them beautiful and trainers to keep them slim and fit. If he can't see your beauty then don't waste your time.

This sounds like someone who is always looking for something better. Tough to impossible to keep. Sounds like he dreams to much. Move on.
