Depends on your budget and the size of the room. In a small room you don't need anything that powerful and expensive. My room is 15x11 and I'm using a Yamaha 270 which sounds awesome. It doesn't come with a DVD player so I bought a Sony progressive scan upconvert and movies sound great. It cost about $300 for both.

You need to give a budget.

There are some mid and highend HT speaker kits that sound amazing, but cost anywhere from $800 - $3000.

And there are dozens apon dozens of HTIB systems for under $500.
