Keep doing what you're doing! Honestly, your body is going to balance itself out eventually. You're still young, and your body is still developing.
And, hey, why not take up belly dancing? Imagine what it will do for your mid-section!
Lastly, do NOT do sit ups. They do nothing for your abs because the motion comes from intertia from your back muscles. You'll end up straining a bunch of muscles and hurting yourself.

Eat three meals a day - Protein, fresh vegs and fruit, whole grains and lowfat dairy. Do not restrict calories under about 1500 because your metabolism will go down in response.
Lift weights to build muscle mass.and do cardio - about 30 minutes daily.
Think about an athletic body - not a skinny body. This means not dieting - just eating healthily and excercising in a way that builds up muscle all over, and cardio to send oxygen and work the heart.
Be healthy - not skinny!!! Guys will love you, and you will love you. Take up a sport too, if you are so inclined.
And dont worry about some belly fat.

I'm 16 in 3 days, 27" waist, 5'4", D boobs (almost the same, lol) and I'm 120lbs, I have that little belly fat too, and I know where you're coming from, it's frustrating ,=P, but if you want it off I'd say doing lower ab work is the best, crunches with legs flat down and bent because you need to work out all of your tummy. It's fine to have it, but try to find toning techniques because otherwise you're fine.

What the hell do the other measurements have to do with your belly flab? I don't need to know the measurements of your boobs or your hips to figure out if you have a slow metabolism.
Belly fat can be genetic, especially the ability to gain and lose it. You could do some crunches and intense ab work. Or go running. And if you are a dancer, you shouldn't have any flab. Anywhere....
If you have a slow metabolism, go to a doctor who specializes in thyroid issues. That's where your metabolism is controlled. If you are not eating very much, your body could be gonig into hibernation mode, and you would not be able to lose weight or flab at all.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Well first of all your 16. So sorry to say, but your at that 'odd boddy' age where there's just nothing going right. So right now I must tell you it's baby fat and it's the most stubborn. The one thing I would suggest is sit-ups to tone your abs. (But I must add, if it's just a little, don't worry about it so much. weighing 125 is perfectly fine for a 16 year old at 5'4".)

hey there. reading all these other answers you must think.... "no ones understands" but guess what?? i do!! i'm 16 and going through the same thing. I'm not fat... but there's belly fat. Well one thing i can tell you the only solution is working the core. You have to do sit-ups and crunches and everything possible for your abs. Because thats your problem area. Dont let it become your life, work out make it a part of your daily life and you'll be fine.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

It's impossible to spot reduce any fat deposits. It's great that you have proper exercise, but due to what seems to be a lack of prefferable genes, your going to be stuck with the apple or pear shape it seems.
I would suggest building more muscle (muscle feeds on energy such as your stored fat deposits.) Maybe some cruches, but also consider working out with some even low weight dumbbells to build muscle to feed on stored energy.
Also, eating fruit is great, but adding more protien to your diet is a must. Fruit (although great for you in some aspects) is sugar for the most part, so increase your protien through natural unprocessed meats (no fast food).
PS - this site is not for people to cast their opnion on wheather or not someone should just take their body as is, or whatever the question may be. It's about answering questions. That't it.

GEEZE! Stop being so damn picky! NO ONE has the perfect body.... all those models have to be airbrushed! When you're 30 you'll look back and slap yourself for thinking you weren't good enough! You can parade around in a bikini, and I GUARENTEE that NO ONE will notice that belly fat you claim to have! All the guys will be drooling over you, and the pedophiles too! Just try to maintain your figure. Or give it to me. I'll even take the belly fat.
