Im average but have belly fat. I diet and eat fruit mostly. I can never get my belly fat to go away. I weigh about 125. I have a good butt and legs but i have all of this stubborn belly fat around. No matter what ive tried it wont go away, even with the tiny eating habits. I do rigorous dance daily. I think i have a really slow metabolism then. Any suggestions to drop the belly fat.

Do crunches and sit ups. I would highly, highly suggest trying pilates... my favorite form of exercise. It really works your core muscles. All women have belly fat... unless they are anorexic and don't have any fat on their bodies at all (which is not attractive...and men don't find that attractive either). It's normal... and if you are 125 pounds you are thin and it's probably not as bad as you think it is.
You sound healthy... dancing daily and eating healthy. Just keep that up. Eat healthy, don't starve yourself and keep up the exercise. You're still young and your body will change as you get older.
When I was your age I had the same problems.. but they have worked themselves out...with the help of exercise and a healthy diet.

I'm 16 in 3 days, 27" waist, 5'4", D boobs (almost the same, lol) and I'm 120lbs, I have that little belly fat too, and I know where you're coming from, it's frustrating ,=P, but if you want it off I'd say doing lower ab work is the best, crunches with legs flat down and bent because you need to work out all of your tummy. It's fine to have it, but try to find toning techniques because otherwise you're fine.

I am 23 years old with teh same problem girl! I have to admit though my fat cells have over powered my brain cells lately so I have gotten a bit lazy. I know before that happened though, I walked all the time and never had a problem until the last few month. Even after having two kids walkingwas the best medicine. Thedifference I have noticed lately is not enough walking and not enough water. No soda!!!!! My doctor said that is the worst thing to drink for many reason but weight gain is the one we talked about. So I need to take my own advice and get off here. Good Luck!!!!!!!

Its only natural for women to have a little belly fat. You sound like you are in very good shape and you shouldn't worry about a little belly fat. Embrace your curves its what makes you a woman. Guys aren't concerned about a little fat here and there, confidence in your body is much more important. Oh and don't starve yourself, it just slows down your metabolism.

You sound very healthy to me and health, not appearance should always be your first priority. Otherwise, my dear, try some other types of exercise into your routine. You body becomes accustomed to the same belly dancing after a while.

I recommend core strength training moves such as crunches and pilates moves. Also get some veggies in there too!

Good luck

Do sit ups, and crunches, and stay away from sodas. And all junk foods. Trunk twist also helps reduce the waist. That arms straight out and stand feet firmly planted and swing your arms side to side ,making a fan like motion while keeping hips still and only moving upper torso.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

Don't worry about it, your not fat by any means, and a little belly fat is kinda attractive. Those girls who are skin and bones and just down right ugly.

Well, belly-fat tends to be harder to lose. But mainly, about your slow metabolism, you're actually making it harder for your body to lose weight by only eating high-carb, low-protein foods, such as fruits.
The best way to boost your metabolism and burn calories is to build muscle--but muscle won't build without protein.
Try looking into low-calorie, high-protein supplements like chewable tablets or shakes.
