I get these cravings from time to time where I feel like I've got to have something salty. But I no more finish the salty food, and I'm craving something sweet! And it goes back and forth!
Do you ever feel that way?
How can you deal with it so you don't gain 15 pounds!?

Your body is craving it because it needs it. Sweet and Salty are the opposite tastes (on your tongue), and you go back and forth betweem the two because you have, for example, too much salt, and you need to balance it out with some sweet.

Do i deal with it? Yup.

You eat salty in moderation or sweet in moderation. That way you don't gain weight.

I have lived on hershey bars and kc masterpiece chips for years, before that it was kit kats and cheez its, i love salty and sweet together, and i ate it all at night, the worst time.
I don't know how not too, i give in to my cravings....lol. Try that kettle corn popcorn, salty and sweet. I should not be suggesting more foods i guess, sorry. I just got a kick out of seeing someone else that likes sweet and salty. I did stop craving that kind of thing, but it could just be another phase. One thing i used to do is put the munchies out of my reach at night, sometimes it worked, sometimes not.
Anyway, your not the only one, and good luck to you!

I want, I find, I eat and I conquer. I do what you say often snacking. But, I also eat a well balanced diet and stay active. This helps keep me fairly trim, do have a small "Tool Shed", but, women seem to like it, or, at least the tool. LOL! Heck, during the Holidays I can actually gain 5-10 pounds. But, by the end of this month (January), I be be back down from a good diet and physical activity.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Try having citrus fruits or juices. They tend to blunt your cravings especially with salty foods. Lower your intake gradually so u will not have any sudden "loss" of these things. Good Luck!

It is called regulating your electrolytes. Usually when you are active and move around a lot, your body needs certain elements, You can drink gatorade or drinks such as those.or go to the asian stores and buy their fruits. Those are both salty and sweet.

Yes!
I will eat a bowl of oatmeal. I put a bit of salt in the water as well as sugar and then pour milk on it! No more being jerked around by my cravings! I'm satisfied. Try it and see for yourself.

Chocolate covered pretzels, they cover both cravings and you can pace yourself so you don't end up eating tons of junk.
