I TOLD HER THAT SHE COULD GET CAUGHT BUT I KNOW PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES BUT THE ONE THAT WAS CAUGHT SHE DID IT FROM UNIVERSITY TO UNIVERSITY, NOT COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO UNIVERSITY LIKE THAT ONE WHO DIDNT GET CAUGHT. ALSO HER FREE FINANCIAL AID WAS SUSPENDED FROM THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUT DOES THAT MEAN IT WILL BE SUSPENDED AT THE UNIVERSITY ASWELL? BASCIALLY DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SOMEBODY WHO HAS DONE THIS AND GOT AWAY WITH IT AND IF SO PLEASE HELP ME GIVE HER SOME WORDS OF INSPIRATION? SHE DO NOT HAVE STUDENT LOANS SO THAT IS THE GOOD PART IN CASE SHE MAY NEED IT

There is nothing special about applying to college, being accepted and then not showing up. That is not a big deal, the college just deleted her name and forgot about it. She doesn;t have to worry about it at all.

On the other hand, if she received any money paid to her - even a little bit - as a scholarship or loan, and she didn't go to the school, that's a BIG DEAL and she has to take care of it right away. Receiving money, especially if it was a federal loan, under false pretenses is a felony. She needs to be sure that she did not take ANY money at all. If she did she needs to go back to the school and arrange to pay it back immediately.

Be sure that you understand what I'm saying. If she got accepted, and never went to the college, and never moved into the dorm, and never signed any papers or registered for courses, or attended classes, or received any payments... Then she has nothing to worry about.

But, if she got a check for her college expenses, and cashed it, or if she signed up for courses and attended even one day of class, then she must pay back everything that they gave her plus interest. And she has to do it now!

As long as she didnt take ANY money at all, she is OK and has nothing to worry about. But if she received the money, then she has to pay it back right now!
