In fact I am living in Israel but from West Africa I want to buy somethings from the internet so do I need a credit or visa card....
I don't know how to proceed. I wander if there is any possibility of getting someone do it on his own account and at the same time once I get it being independant from him.

Just open a bank account and get a Visa debit card. I'm sure Isreal banks can handle that quite easily. Debit cards are tied directly to the bank acct, but work like a credit card.

Getting a debit card should take you all of 15-20 mins when you open a bank acct.

I doubt serrously you would find anyone to get a card on thier acct and let you have it to use.. I know I certainly wouldnt do that even for my closest friends and family.

You don't need a credit card. You can make purchases on the internet with a debit card which accesses your bank account directly.

Sometimes a credit card will have 3 final digits as security at the end of the 16-digit sequence. Debit cards often have the same 3 digits printed on the back.

Ask your bank if you can get one.

If that doesn't work, you can always start out with a secured VISA or MASTERCARD. The way it works is you take your own money and put it into the account, perhaps 2000 shekels, and that's the money available on your card. As you make payments to replace it, they may offer you higher limits beyond what you've paid in.

There's NO SUCH THING as a credit rating! You can build up a credit 'score' with your bank, and new banks will 'score' you based on what you tell them. Only bad debt goes on a database for banks to make credit decisions. As far as your card goes, if it says 'credit card' you will get a bill every month stating how much you owe etc. If it says 'debit card' then the money comes straight from your account. I fully recommend you speak to your bank if you are unsure - if you leave it too late tou will muck up your finances and get into trouble. Please listen to a bank, not your friends.

Some credit card companies will give you a card if you can get someone with good credit to co-sign with you. That means the other person will be responsible for your debts if you don't pay.

If you have income/money and just need it for occasional purchases, some banks will issue a card with a low limit. Not a problem if you don't buy too much stuff and pay it off every month.

These companies prefer that u have a bank account. But try to give them some other documents like employment certificate showing that u have the means of repaying them. I would not suggest u use another person because this might be "fraudulent" and if they find out u might get blacklisted.

You don't need a bank account to get a credit card.

You just need a checking or savings account, prefably a checking! Apply for a credit card, look into it through your computer, ask friends and family what and who they like.
