This is a really general question, but i've never really had to workout before, but i want to try to have a get pregnant 6-12 months from now. I want to be in the best shape before i get pregnant (doctor recommended) and i want to start working out. I am not really "overweight" rather just slightly over normal. Problem is: i have bad circulation in my legs, which causes them to tire and tingle very easily. I have began doing sit-ups but i don't know how many reps/sets to do. Can anyone tell me either their favorite exercise (and how to do it) or their exercise routine, or anything that could help me! THANKS!

Yoga, yeah, its a great all-around fitness tool.

I would suggest running to begin with. Although its great to throw in a set of crunches, you'll not only feel the effects most through some cardio, but you would have to do a lot of crunches to gain any type of real progress health wise.

I exercise with 2 dumbbells only, and get a great workout. It's very possible to have a home gym consisting of only a few items, say... dumbbells (10lbs), a yoga mat, a medicine ball, and other personal taste items.

Focus on total body, not just say crunches. Your poor circulation may even be caused by lack of proper exercise and cardio. (Remember, cardio dosn't only consist of running. Jumping rope, burpees, riding a bike... these are all cardio.)

Doing any exercise that you enjoy will make things easier for you.
You might consider dancing, riding your bike, or yoga.

Don't forget that a healthy diet will help prepare you for pregnancy, too.
