Or does he think I'm just yucky?

It's just that one time we and a lot of people went out of town. There were shortages of beds in the place where we're spending our night. Some guys and girls slept on sleepings bags on the floor inside a common room.

I was lucky enough to sleep on a bed ine one of the very few girls' room. Then one of the organizers of the event told this guy that he doesn't have to sleep on the floor in the common room for this second night coz he could sleep on the bed. He knows this bed is inside the girls' room. he was happy with that one but when he found out, he'll be sleeping beside me, he was like , 'WHAT? WHY HER? UM, NO, I'LL JUST SLEEP ON THE FLOOR IN THE COMMON ROOM."

the next day, my girlfriend told me not to be offended about it coz he was probably just being a gentleman.

I'm wondering, was he expecting a guy to sleep beside him so he was like 'no way' when he found out about me?

Or does he think i'm unattractive?

He was being a jerk. He was excited to sleep with the girls, but he didn't want to sleep next to you, for whatever mean reason. Just because one guy doesn't like you doesn't mean all of them won't. When I was in school, all the guys treated me this way (EW NOT HER!) but once I graduated and moved away, I was hot stuff, and I had a hard time fighting the guys off. I have never had trouble getting a date or a boyfriend since I graduated.

I hate to be honest with you, but I don't think he was being a "gentleman". He was being an asshole and didn't want to sleep next to you because he thinks you're unattractive or you're not "easy". Don't feel bad though... a lot of guys are jerks. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with you. Just revel in the fact that he had to sleep on the hard floor while you were nice and comfy.

If you haven't asked him, you'll never find out. I'm not saying you should ask him, just making a point. This kind of stuff happens all the time and we fret and dwell on it. It probably had nothing to do with you or your attractiveness. I bet he hasn't given it a second thought and you're agonizing over it. Let it go. He was either a gentleman or a rude pig. If he's a gentleman, cool. If he was a rude pig, good riddance. You don't need to spend anymore time or energy worrying about a pig.

Who knows what goes on inside a man's head? The only way you'll get an answer is to ask him. But honestly and realistically, not EVERYONE in the world will find you attractive, that's a fact we all have to face. You may well be really pretty, and most people would find you attractive, but there is always the exception to the rule, so perhaps he was one of the few that don't fancy you? It's just the way life works.

He was being a gentleman, I'm sure! Most guys, in theory, would love to sleep in a bed with a woman but when the times comes around they realize that it actually might be inappropriate, uncomfortable, or awkward. He was probably thinking about how he farts in his sleep and would rather do that on the floor rather than in a bed with you :)

It doesn't mean he thinks you are unattractive. He must have been surprised that the organisers was suggesting that he and you sleep in the same bed. Perhaps he was expecting to sleep next to a guy. Don't worry, I'm sure you got a better night's sleep this way anyhow.

uhmm.. based on what he said upon knowing that its you whom he'll gonna sleep with... he's isn't rude, but of course he's not a gentleman!!! a gentleman wouldn't say something like that coz its too offending and humiliating... erase the idea that you're unattractive on coz youre not ,you said you have a boyfriend ,don't you? , you shouldn't think about that,.

I would be confused as you are- but, he could have been acting either way, if he was a gentleman- it was a sweet gesture, but if he's a jerk, screw him! Look at it this way, you slept on the bed, he slept on the FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!!! If its bothering you this much- watch his reactions to things, or just let it go.

i think he was being a gentleman knowing that something could have happened had he chosen to sleep beside you in the same bed

He might of acted that way cause he didn't want you to think that he thought you where attractive.(reverse)
So now you're showing interest in his thoughts.Maybe he does like you but wants to make you feel like you have to prove something and hopefully you will.If you don't it's no lose to him and he got his anger off his chest by makeing you think ,what he never actually thought and he never got.
Confuseing I know.
Whatever the case ...it's working.
