I've already applied for financial aid through my college and have a subsidized and unsubsidized loan, but its not enough. Do I need to tell the college to get more or can I not just apply myself somewhere? I don't have good credit, hardly any and I don't have a co-signer, so I can't go that route. Any help would be useful. Thanks!

It depends on what you need the aditional money for.

There are many places to apply so the best thing it to just try.

Help from the education institution will help and they might be able to get what you need.

Each person has a little diferent surcomstances so what may work for one might not for another.

Just try.

Ask your college about a work study program to help you pay for college costs. Also, apply for scholarships through your school. The financial aid department can assist you in this.
Good luck to you!
