I was visiting my gf of 5 yrs this week and I noticed she left her email open so I peaked into her sent emails. I know this was wrong, but this was the message I found. It was from her to some guy named Greg on Dec 10th.

" Hey there...fun night? we're not doing too good at this huh....

I do appreciate the shout out....I;m assuming you either 1) never got my email or 2) were feeling pretty lucky. Its cool, if you're trying to get me killed I guess :). Actually, since I never heard from you I turned my phone off last night-I would have enjoyed late night drunk Greg!.....if I;d been alone.

Actually feeling guilty again tofay though - sorry I am weak. More that I hit on this off-the-market guy on a daily basis.

Good luck studying. And tonight - yes I'm alone if your phone works"

I asked her and she said he is a friend who lives out of town who she got flirty with. She said it was nothing but got too intense and she ended the friendship. She said nothing physical happened

Well Joe D,
The first thing that concerns me is, you have no trust in her to begin with (snooping in her email), but this may be type of
'fore-warning' to you in some way.
I'm an old lady and one thing I have learned over the years is,
'IF' a woman 'truly' loves a man she should 'never' be emailing
intimate or personal stuff to another man. (friend or not).
And to be quite honest with you Joe, I don't trust this girlfriend of yours.
Something seems really fishy somewhere!
I know she told you he was 'only' a friend she got a little too flirty with, but why is she getting 'flirty' with anyone other than you.
And of course she's going to tell you nothing happened!!!
She'd be a real 'idiot' to tell you if something did, knowing the trouble it would cause.
Case-in-point, "do you really trust her?
thats the main issue here, and I don't beleive you do and possibly for good reason.
I think there has been other situations that have made you uncertain of her loyalty to you.
When 'lack of trust' comes into a relationship, there 'really' is
no relationship.

first of all its not a good thing that you read her email I know its hard not too when its right there but it only will lead to bad things no matter how many times you have done it before. No to your real problem tell her you really want to talk about it and know everything if your that unhappy about it, you need to talk about it or it will drive you crazy.

women lie all the time to cover up yes she probably did have sex with this guy. so i wouldn't take her to seriously dude cause all it would cause for you is to get hurt in the long run.
