Because the money doesn't go back into the country. We are basically supporting a third world country that not only doesn't like us but doesn't respect this country.

Well it is legal and it should be. it does however take money out of the American economy. It does not supply the country with necessary labor because wages are determined by employment demand. immigrants lower the employment demand (because there are many of them) and therefore they lower the wages. When the wages are lowered only then do Americans not want the jobs. Oh and money spent on a few vacations does not remotely compare to a full life (or portion of a life) spent in a foreign country spending wages sent to you from another country.

Actually, it's not the same as spending money on another country during vacation(you're an idiot). Before people take off, they exchange their money to the country their going to.
How is illegals considered responsible?
Sending money the way you guys do decreases the money in America and increases the tax. Also, by not paying any tax, you guys makes us pay more tax.

Because it takes away money from the U.S. economy. The same economy that provides them with that money. It's like taking a glass of water; using the water in it to fill up another glass, and once that glass is full pouring it back into the other glass. Repeating this over and over, but each time you fill the other glass you empty a small amount out. Pretty soon there'll be no water left. While it would take countless years to drain the US economy, ever bit that leaves hurts us.

First of all most(not all ) illegal aliens work for cash so no taxes are taken out for schools, roads, hospitals, prisons, police, firemen etc( the infrastructure).Even tho the illegal uses theses things he doesn't pay for them, thru anything but sales taxes on things he buys.(some states don't tax food). So when he sends money made illegally
to his home country,he is living virtually tax free as well as illegally in the USA.
Most all legal American pay taxes,if you have a legal social security card (that's yours and not stolen)and work ,then you are paying taxes. While some people that are legal may work for cash once in awhile (equally wrong) they spend most,if not all in the American economy not sending to to another country..
The illegal enriches the economy of another country while he takes all he can from the USA.
To me it shows a total disregard for the USA and its legal citizens. Its illegal and its criminal.Your personal problems do not take precedence over federal law,I don't care who you are or where you come from,it doesn't prove anything to me but selfishness and total disregard for the laws of this nation.

Legal tax paying immigrants can do anything they want with their hard earned money, they are LEGAL.Again it amazes me that pro supports have no idea what that word means.

There is nothing wrong with them sending money back to their homeland. The problem lies with the fact that if they are here illegally, they are not paying for taxes but are enjoying the things that those taxes pay for. Roads, police, schools, and other communal services are all paid for by taxes. The drain that illegals place on the system is in this way, not by sending their wages elsewhere.

If they are working here, they are living here. Which means they are spending a portion of their earnings here, so they do support American businesses.

If we are truly concerned with "sending money" to other countries, as this is a "drain on our economy", perhaps we should take a long hard look at our enormous trade deficit.

There is no problem at all for immigrants to send money home to there family.
It dear not be a question for you to ask "if they worked hard for it" because these people are mostly even slaved to earn that money.
You should know better my friend and your question should rather be WHY DO IMMIGRANTS SEND SOME OR MOST OF THERE MONEY THAT THEY HAVE WORKED SO HARD FOR BACK HOME?
This is very difficult to understand for most westerners but for you to get a clue of this iceberg, I will like to introduce you to these few ever day words; LOVE, CARE and FAMILY.
Looking into-to also is the reality of individual development and security for the time when they will return back to there countries of origin. Those money they sent will build homes and the likes for them which most can't afford to do here in the west (Europe and US). The care and love aspect is that blood tie of the family which reflects every bond reality of the situation they once lived. Trust me, these people don't just send money for sending sake but they also evaluate the reasons and situation for which they feel oblige to send their money.
For closing, I appeal for people to try to understand and open the doors for immigrants to live and work as human beings.

and that i wager maximum of them can write extra constructive English than you for sure can. A triumph for the English training gadget, for sure. Did all people ever inform you that punctuation is had to make a passage incredibly understood? What you have written is utter gibberish. and that i've got have been given no concept why living in a small city makes despite it incredibly is you're attempting to assert 'no longer a fantasy.'

People say "its bad for the economy" That may be so, I am no expert, but I say THATS JUST CRUEL. These people worked for there money, what, are we suppoused to take away their right to spend money how THEY want. And let their family live in proverty?cause it "hurts the economy" boo! hoo! what our government spends in foreign places is WAY more than all the immegrants back home, FINE lets take away there right to do what they want WITH THEIR money, and let their families be poor. Why? for the economy, thats sure to make other countries love us (please dont slip on the dripping sarcasm"

sorry for ranting, its just...peoples answers and ignorance make me MAD!

And, why does everyone assume he is talking about illegal immigrants? do you SEE the word illegals, NO. Legal and illegal immigrants BOTH care about their family ans send money home. Just because you are a U.S.A citizen, doesn't mean you forget your family *gasp*

dear member_of: where the hell do you get your statistics, I want a source, buster, before I believe you. You cant just go spouting nonsense without PROOF!

They don't pay taxes, they abuse our welfare, medical, and dental plans, they put NOTHING back into the economy, are "Leaches", hate Americans, would be very happy if America ended up a 3rd world country such as theirs, they send more illegals over here, they are NOT immunized (so they spread disease), and are totally "USELESS" in the work force, unskilled, don't know the language (could care less about learning it), keep on working hard, millions of ILLEGALS are on welfare, and need your money. OUR TAX BASE CANNOT SUPPORT 40% of the Mexican population living in the U.S. (that's how many are here), YEA 40% of the population of mexico is living illegally in the U.S.

thats good for them. They can send their hard worked money to their home countries, but in the end, its going to affect the American Economy greatly in the future.
