i mite b allergic to perfume,and it gave me a runny nose and its one of those things where u rub ur eyes cuzit like hurts rite? well my mom thought i was on drugs and said the side affects r a runny/stuffy nose and red puffy eyes. she still thinks that,but i have to b good for a while or else i cant get my belly button pierced.what r sum good come backs or facts to prove im not a druggie? they have to b nice or else no piercing!

Drug tests look for illegal drugs, so a cigarette would not show. Offering to take a drug test tells your mother that you have nothing to hide. You might also ask your mother to take you to the doctor to see if you do have allergies. You may need an antihistamine or other medication to manage your symptoms.
Don't roll your eyes or get defensive when you mom is asking you about this stuff.

This happened to me once when I was a teen. I had a sinus infection from allergies that was so bad that my eyes got red and it even came to the point where I developed pain in my 2 upper teeth from pressue in the maxillary sinuses. Anyway, I went on WebMD and showed my mother information about allergies to prove that symptoms like red eyes, runny/stuffy nose, etc are caused by bad allergies. I also made her take me to a doctor, who then treated my allergies (you need antihistamines, decongestants, etc.).
Sometimes, your own word is not enough. You need to show your mother professional information so she can become educated about allergies since she obviously isn't`

Go have your Mom or You buy an Over The Counter Drug test,
and have her test you for drugs!!

A good way is to explain your suspicion to your mom. Then get a bottle of perfume and do a test in front of her.
Also talk to your family doctor.
By the way, be careful with piercings! Not only do they hurt, they can get infected -- ouch!

if you really are not on drugs ask her to go to drug store and get a in home drug test so you can prove it.
