Get in the Breakfast Habit
It has been said many times, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After a long period without eating your blood sugar levels will be low. Skipping breakfast can mean your body will start to crave something sweet and you'll end up snacking on unhealthy foods. Start the day with a filling and nutritious meal and you will give your metabolism a kick start. You'll feel full until lunch time with no temptation to snack your way through the morning. Some studies have also shown that eating breakfast (high carbohydrate/low fat) can make you more alert and assertive to face the day.

If we skip breakfast, we are likely to become tired when our brains and bodies run low on fuel. By mid-morning, a lot of us grab a cup of coffee, or wolf down a sugary candy bar to wake up again. This might work for a few minutes, but by lunch time we are hungry, crabby, and perhaps our mood might make us a little more prone to making unhealthy choices at lunch. Eating a good breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day.

When you've been asleep for 8 or so hours, you haven't eaten for at least 8 hours, possibly more like 10 or 11 hours. This means your body is really low on amino acids and carbs, both something you want to have floating around in your body to stay anabolic. The best way to break the starvation (!) of your muscles is to have a hearty breakfast as soon as possible as you wake up. Also, if you work out early in the day, it's extra important to get a lot of carbs with your breakfast, as you'll need it to fuel your workout.

Break it down "break" and "fast". You are actually breaking the fast you have been on since the last time you ate. This recharges your body, replenishes your glucose (brain food and energy) and essentially starts up your metabolism for the day. When you skip breakfast, it is kind of like trying to drive your car with an empty tank. You might get out of the drive-way, but you will run out of gas very soon.

the whole of night your stomach had digested the food and your body has assimilated the food. After a good siesta it is craving for food. So a breakfast is supposed to be an important food to take care of energy for the rest of the day.

Because it gets your metabolism started. Once your metabolism gets moving your brain is on "high alert" and it's the best way to lose weight as well. If you want the best breakfast, eat oatmeal! No kidding...it's great for the body and brain. :) Guess mom was right on!

When you sleep your body depletes its storage of glucose, and you would need to replenish that storage by consuming something.
