Go to your doctor and ask for Chantix by Pfiser. It has no nicotine and works in 2 ways, by cutting the pleasure of smoking and reducing the withdrawal symptoms that lead you to light up over and over again.

It is difficult but doable.

I have made up this (list) of what happened to me. I guess you can call them steps, but... anyways, just read them and see if it helps. I don't smoke anymore.
1. For starters, pick a week that you think you will not encounter much stress or social activity.
2. Before that week, on the weekend, go drinking and get wasted. Smoke until you can barley breath anymore. FINISH YOUR PACKAGES. and sleep off your drunkenness.
3. The next day, hanged-over, you will hardly want another smoke or drink. Don't buy any smokes. First day EASY!
4. Monday. You will perhaps want one. Don't. just take it easy at work (or what ever you do). Believe me, second day is also Easy.
5. The third day is the hardest one. Now, your system, fully recovered from the weekend intoxication, will need its "fix" Here is where your will needs to emerge. Do it out of pride. If you overcome the third day without a smoke, you have prooven to yourself that you have a strong will and that your mind is in control of your body. Feel proud of yourself!
6. Fourth, fifth and sixth days are not easy. But... after the third day... after you have proven to yourself that you can decide instead of a 5 minute relief, it is doable. So do it!
7. Finish the whole week. After the week, you will not be thinking about it that much. You have overcome the hardest part. It's going to be downhill from now on.
8. During this time try not to expose yourself to places where you will be near smokers. Lead yourself not into temptation. Avoid drinking, if you do.
9. If you are strong of will, you can go struggling for three months. After that you are good to go. You have proven to yourself that you are able to quit when you decide. So, now that you are convinced that you are Superman, go like that for at least 5 more months. Then....
10. Have a little drag. Do it! make it the same brand you used to smoke. Just do it man! You will hate it so much you will never, ever smoke again! and you will feel better about quitting.

GL!

PS. Everyone is different. This is how my metabolism reacted. I think quiting is as EASY as not lighting the next one and as HARD as not lighting it.

First fix a "Quit Date" for yourself. Have the will power to do it. You can use "NULIFE" which is a chewing gum, which can be had 1 a day, this helps reduce your craving for cigarettes and later on you may not be comfortable enough to stand in a place where people smoke, this costs Rs. 55/- for 12 gums in India. You can also try Zyban, (sorry I dont know the Indian formulation, your Question time limit is nearing), which is an international brand. The dosages are not sure to me right now, this tablet costs about Rs. 55/- per tablet. If you want further details on it please get in touch.

Good Luck !

Hi,

I quit this time last year having had a 30 a day habit. I'd tried and failed with allsorts until I a friend recommended this program - see below.

It also came with a 100% money back guarantee and has a 90% success rate - can't say fairer than that!

All the best.

If you have ignored all the health warnings about using a product that will kill, you obviously have no fear of death. Perhaps you should quit because to continue is stupidity and nobody wants to admit to being stupid.
