I'm going on 3 yrs..and waiting another year and a half until I can see my boyfriend.
Too long is when your not wanting to commit to the relationship anymore. My relationship is as strong and amazing as the first day I met him, only gets better each and every day. Some people are cracked up for it, some aren't. With communication and honesty, and more important trust...you can make any relationship..even long distance one..to last as long as you want.
Think of it..men gone off to war, women waiting for their men and husbands to return home. Getting letters once a week or month..living each day in fear of receiving the telegram. Be grateful you can talk to them each and every day and as much as you can. If women back then could do it...anyone can do it.

I think that a year is too long, unless it's a marriage relationship, then obviously you're in it for the long run. My friend's relationship was ruined after not seeing his girlfriend for a year. A year is a whole cycle of the seasons and everything, all of the holidays and everything. So unless one person is in the military, I think that a year should be the limit.

I dont imagine each person needs to have a lengthy distance relationship. existence takes position and receives contained in the way, you actually ought to artwork round it. If someone should be with their lengthy distance BF or GF sufficient/or they love them sufficient, they are going to bypass to the position the different human being is and prevent the lengthy distance component. those those who've relationships over the internet or out of state "merely because" are in all likelihood dropping their time. lengthy distance relationships wont very last if there isnt dedication.

Well that all depends on whether you love this person and they love you back. If you both love each other then however long it takes. My husband is in Iraq and he is going to be there for a year if not longer. I won't be able to see him for that long. I love him and willing to wait for him. But like I said it all depends.

It depends for each couple, i knew a couple that were DEEPLY in love but they couldnt see each other for months at a time, so they broke it off. It depends on the couple though like i said. Big parts of a relationship though, is seeing eachother.

were both in the same situation my boyfriends is in ONtario right now,,weve been 3 years together and he left last year to work there we are planning for a wedding he's an immigrant and leaving with his canadian mother with his 2 brothers but inspite of being far with physically with each other we still find ways to communicate and thanks to God because we are in good communication though we are really used to many things we go out together everyday,,to tell you the truth its really hard but if you have trust with each other you can make it till the both of you succeed..and most important is let GOd be the center of your relationship..dont listen to other people with their negative thoughts..in fact,,it depends for the both of you not all logn distance relationship fails,,it only fails if the guy/girl breaks the trust what you have to do is,,trust him,,be faithful and give him yur full support,,thats what i am doin right now,,even its really hard not seeing him,,hugging and kissing him,,im still learning to be strong for the sake of our love..release everything to God and he will guide your relationship.be strong, have fate,,dont let other people pull you down.and let me share you this the guy that i was saying is NEIL i love him so much.hope he can read this...goodluck!
