Yes... it IS proof of that. What SANE person believe THIS? -

Scientologists believe the evil alien ruler Xenu killed a lot of aliens (Thetans) from around the universe by bringing them to earth in golden DC8 “space-planes” & blowing them up inside volcanoes with hydrogen bombs. They believe the souls of these aliens (these souls are "Body Thetans") were captured, brainwashed and released who then attached themselves to our ancestors (who passed them all the way down to us) & cause many of our mental & physical ills.

The growth of Scientology is proof that some of the folks on this forum are misinformed (I am NOT using the word stupid), as to what it actually is.

The fact is that when people find out what Scientology factually is about and experience for themselves what it does, they get on board. That is why it is growing, because there are a lot of smart people around who can look and think for themselves.
( Not everybody can do that these days it seems)

The true story of Scientology as a religion goes like this:
1. A philosopher developes a philosophy about life and death.
2. People find it interesting.
3. People find it works.
4. People pass it along to others.
5. It grows.

No... people are gullible enough to believe anything has already been proven through the absurd belief in the religions that have been around for eons. Scientology, like all the other new cults is just another example of the kinds of people that inhabit these planet. You can create a new religion tomorrow and will no doubt have followers. If you had created this religion 2,000+ years ago, there would be less questions and it would be more difficult to shoot down.

People are stupid enough to believe anything. No scientology will never take over the majority, because it is the week minded that lead and are members of the group and there is no real power behind it.

No chance. To me it kind of sounds like living your life according to Star Trek.
"Scientology is a body of teachings and related techniques developed by American science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard."

What's makes you think the Church of Scientology is growing? Just because someone said that, doesn't make it true.

"The Church has claimed anywhere from eight million to fifteen million[33] members world-wide, and has stated that Scientology is "the fastest growing religion in the world."[34] Critics, however, state evidence suggests otherwise."

Scientology can only recruit people who aren't bright enough to search for answers online, though, so they can't make much progress.

But that's fine, since they're way more evil than the big three.

Scientology is the celebrity religion. Most of us don't fit into that category.

I sure hope not. You have to be rich to join the church of scientology anyway. There's an "entrance fee". (which proves its bull-sh*t).
