Every morning, my husband pours 100% whole grain oats into a bowl, without cooking it. He then adds some canned corn and chopped almonds. He adds no liquid. He eats this each morning. I told him that it's so weired and I bet him nobody in this worls eats oatmeal raw. He says it's not that unusual and he bet there are others who eat it like that.
Without fooling around, please be honest and let me know if you have ever eaten your oatmeal raw.

I have bee eating oatmeal raw for at least two years now. I take a cookie sheet, lay out a thin layer at 350 F, toast about 5-9 minutes. Sprinkle on top of yogurt or mix it with dried fruit. Taste wonderful. Cholestrol level is awesome too. Your husband snt weird at all.

My brother-in-law has been eating raw oats since he was 16-
tho he pours a little milk over it and lets it sit for 15 minutes,
then drizzles a little honey over the mess. He swears it keeps
him "regular" tho it is a little weird that a 16 yr. old would be
concerned about that.

I do, I add milk and sugar though-it's yummy! Never heard of the way your hubby likes it but it sounds good.
