It gives humans the idea that they are within reach of being gods and they only need to dare grasp for it. That in fact is the idea behind Hitlers reach for it, to be self determined, unihibited by Christian moral constraint.Constraints are man made, conventions, like cob webs, made by the weak to control the strong from exerting their Nature(God) given powers and right. Because there are no rights or standards of morality that are true or truly set, they are all man made agreements and man owes no allegiance to any one except himself and his own survival.
Thes are all logical conclusions drawn from the denial of God and assertion of the idea of evolution. There are man y more.It takes away shame and fear of God, becaus ethen everything is just natural and all shame or guilt is man made.It is obvious that such things are dangerous especially combined with all the weapons that science makes, incuding the scientific atomic bombs and such.Experimentation then has no bounds if it means saving the best and stringest, killing the weak for their sakes. And who getes to decide who is weak or what is weak?

.
While the bible, which are divinely inspired scriptures, written for our benefit, teach that God is judge over all men, all men being created in His image, all are equal under God, the images of god, and he judges them not according to their outward appearance as evil men do, but their hearts.Evolution is the opposite.

Most people would say it is dangerous becuase it does not go along with Genesis. This however is a very insignificant side of Evolution. Evolution makes sense, and most evidence supports it, but it should lead to some very bad thinking. Take Eugenics for instance. It is based on Evolution, but it takes it to a whole new level, one that kills around 6 million people.

Evolution by itself isn't a bad thing. When it's put in the hands of someone with a chip on their shoulder, it is.

Most Christians are so busy trying to prove that evolution doesn't exist that they never give any credence to the notion that God conceived and implemented it.

I don't claim to know the answer, but I am willing to admit that evolution exists. To what extent it has shaped our world, I don't think anyone will ever know. Let's just say that after MUCH study, I'm becoming much more progressive toward the idea of evolution. I am a solid, Bible-believing Christian, but that doesn't mean I have to throw my brain out the window.

I recommend studying this issue to everyone, especially my fellow Christians!

To most, the theory of evolution seems counter to popular religious beliefs brought out in the Bible and the Koran (creationism). However, I don't believe that the Bible is literal in the seven days it took to create the universe.

According to the Bible, the light came before the earth, which came before the oceans, which is before the animals, which is before people - science holds the same chronology.

Because it's a real threat to fundamentalist theology. A literal reading of the Bible is contradictory to Evolution. For Evolution to be possible, the world must be much more than 6000 years old. If Evolution is true, the Biblical account of creation must be less than literally factual. If Evolution is true, a good part of Fundamentalism falls on its face.

Only to those who are weak in their faith. They fear it as a result. Raised in the JWs, we were taught ti embrace it, as it explains what took plain since the time of the great flood. I can say that I didn't fully embrace it in high school, but that was more as result of less interest in science and more interest in the more fun things. Usual for teenagers. I did like farm science, which may have included the science of getting girls into the hayloft, had I been in any other religion.

Most people don't talk about the theory of Evolution - just Evolution itself. Neither though are viewed as dangerous by, at least, sane people.

The ones who DO call them/it dangerous are misguided and ignorant - they rely on misconceptions on the subject and go from there.

That is what Adolph H. used to base his theory of the SUPERIOR RACE---further evolved.

Black people are more primitive because they have curly hair, darker skin, and are often shorter than pale faces of the northern countries. GIVE ME A BREAK!

THAT IS WHY!

Because its racist in its application. It basically says survival of the fitest, etc. etc. Racism is dangerous and I am not even going to try to explain that because if you don't know why you might want to ask that question too.
