Unfortunately to non-believers the obvious is the hardest to see. But that is another eason to believe just because that is something the Bible forewarns.
Oh and for anyone who believes it was a trick to have people follow Jesus. If Jesus was not really God, what would Jesus gain out of it by dying. If Jesus knew it was false why would he willingly give up his life.
2nd The was a Roman guard at the front of the tomb just because of the rumors. A Roman Guard was like a platoon. It had 9 highly trained men.
3rd Why would any of Jesus's followers try and take the body just to prove that their religion was wrong. The would want to see if it was true by him rizing.
4th There are so many instances of Martyr's soon after Jesus's death. Now why would people risk their lives for something they knew wasn't true when all they had to do was renounce it. NONE of them renounced it.
God Bless!

Some theories suggest that it was removed to protect it from tomb robbers, vandals and others who might try to deface any tomb, not just Jesus'. Others say that he was not really completely dead when he was put into the tomb, and that he "awoke" from a coma and left of his own volition. Still others think that His body was never put there in the first place, as most crucifixion vicims were not allowed to be removed by family or friends, but were left on their crosses until the vultures plucked their bones clean, or the bodies were unceremoniously dumped in a public trash pit. There are many reasons that His body might have disappeared from His tomb. The part about His resurrection was actually added many years after the first manuscripts were written of the Gospel... so whether it really happened or was manufactured to glorify Him is entirely up to debate by biblical scholars.

several possibilities
1.It didn't happen
2. people lied
3. an empty tomb proves there is an empty tomb...nothing else is proven. Prove to me there was a tomb, then prove a body disappeared from it
4. Jesus never existed, he's a fictional character in a collection of stories
5. if you think the tomb in Jerusalem is the "actual " tomb, then I have a deal for you on the Brooklyn Bridge.
6. But really...it didn't actually happen. You can't use the bible itself as proof of the events that happened in it. Do you believe the events that happen in the Koran, or the Book of Mormon actually happened? no...of course not.....ask yourself why, and read my answer again.
7. I don't have to explain it...you have to prove it happened.

Jesus was killed. He had a man's body. It lay dead for three days. The his Father, Jehovah God, resurrected him. Resurrection means ' a standing up'.
Jesus was given, by his Father, another fleshly [ NEW] body, and this is 'who' was seen outside the tomb. Jesus warned that it was not to be touched by Mary Magdelane.
In this new body, Jesus spent the next forty days on the earth with his disciples. During this time he ate and drank.
(Luke 22:41-43) And he himself drew away from them about a stone’s throw, and bent his knees and began to pray, 42 saying: “Father, if you wish, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, let, not my will, but yours take place.” 43 Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.
At the end of the forty days, Jesus was taken back to heaven to be beside his Father once again. Jehovah God disposed of the body.
Had it been left it may have been wrongfully used as an ICON to worship.
But worship must be ' in spirit and truth'
Not in bowing down to Icons.
(John 4:23) Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him.

The body and soul of Christ did die. His body has to be destroyed to fulfill the Covenant of the Sacrificial Lamb, whose soul or blood was poured out on the ground, while its flesh was destroyed by fire on the alter in the holy. The ashes were carried into the Most Holy by the High priest, who had to crawl on their knees under the great curtain of gold.
The tomb of Christ was empty, not because he was resurrected, but because his body was destroyed to complete the reason for his being sent to Earth by his Father, in the first place. He was the Lamb of God. The resurrection was secondary to this. When he died, all that he was, was recorded in the Book of Life. When he was resurrected, it was downloaded into a new, spirit body, one of two examples of the resurrection. The other being what happened with Lazarus, who came back as a human.

First of all consider the source where its writtin, easter is a pagan holiday also as is christmas. I still dont get the whole died for my sins thing but then again it wasn't made to make sense to non believers. His tomb was empty, maybe he decomposed, maybe he woke up and left, maybe the rising is metaphorical, and no one knows the true tomb for sure, christians just made some random cave the true cave just like they did with the true cross.

I was a Christian, and became a Jew as I felt it was blasphemy to say Jesus is G-d. I think you will have to wait forever for all to bow to Jesus. There is no G-d but G-d, and Jesus was not Him.
And, as for the empty tomb goes-------have you never heard of removing a body to bury it elsewhere? It is often done.

I'd imagine a lot of tombs from 2000 years ago are empty, love. Bodies decompose.
As for the Biblical stories: there's no reason to accept what they say as historical truth. Even assuming that the body of an exucuted man named Yeshua did seemingly disappear, it's most probable to assume that someone took the body, probably for political reasons.

Jesus in NOT dead. Muslims (have to) believe in Jesus as a Prophet and messiah but not as God or son of God. Jesus will return to prove that he was not killed but only taken up by God and that he never asked his followers to worship him (Jesus). Muslims do and will follow Jesus in his creed that there is none worthy of worship except the One True God - without any son or partners.
So, Muslims and their leader then, Jesus, shall bow down to God and worship Him alone!

Wow I never thought of that. How can we explain his empty tomb? You have really laid it on us this time girl. You have spoiled my entire day. Why don't you just shut up anyway. It isn't fair asking questions like that. I'm closing my eyes. I'm not even looking. I'll thank about it tomorrow. That's what!
